The Abuad student;Ridic sketches, is the name on the lips of every student who appreciates art..how did you com about the name?
"Well, at about 2005 in my jss1 I got the the name ridic for myself, a short form for ridiculous which is a popular word. It' not from the chronicles of riddick as people think. When I came to Afe, specifically in my 200 level 1st semester, I just merged ridic And sketches, started putting it in my works."
The Abuad student;hmn..the name is now sort of a popular brand name..is it only you or a team of artists that release art under that name?
"I am glad it could become one, we are currently three, we consider ourselves an efficient team. My colleague in class Ehi Oshio Pray, and Yakubu in 200 level law, we sometimes do collabos on some works, especially myself and Pray"
The Abuad student; What is your major inspiration. .when you pick up the art brush?
"Well, I am a very imaginative person, so the picture is always in my mind, nd when I pick the brush I challenge myself to recreate what's In my mind. So I gues my imagination motivates besides being bored, boredom also motivates me."
The Abuad student;You study law currently, any plans to further your career in art commercially. .or you'll just rather stick to law?
"Well, I am pretty sure I can do both. I am a realist art as an industry is not the easiest, so I really need the law degree, so i'll do both"
The Abuad student;Finally, what do you have to say to your fans..whom you inspire?
"Wow, well wah can I say? Believe in God and work hard,art is a very patient kind of work, and without it nothing."
