Its resumption week, and I would like to personally welcome all new students to Afe babalola university. You might think it's not a popular university at first, that it's just some school far away from home, but when you get there, you'll finally realise, why most figments you call "paradise", are located far-off. Make no other mistake in your perception, she is a pride to behold in the midst of other private universities. She has facilities that can rival other private universities in Nigeria, and she sees only foreign schools as her competitors.
As a fresher, you are new to the family, our family. From the moment you take your admission letter, Abuad becomes part of you, till you pass away. Never badmouth your family, never betray your community. A lot of you might have wanted to attend federal schools, but might have had little constraints..and you ended up coming here..don't fret, this is far more than other federal universities. It is a diverse community, led Nigeria's formost lawyer. His name opens doors far more than you can imagine.
Good gangs, bad gangs, good friends, bad friends, good trends, Bad trends..you will find them all. You will start to shape your very future with these things, so I suppose you think carefully, before doing or joining anyone.
There are good sides and bad sides to the school, but I would allow you discover that yourself.as Old students resume, there would be lots of distractions, Parties, Disturbance coming from the opposite sex, you need to be wise, as you need your education first. It is your primary purpose.
