The Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) will host the 6th edition of the Nigerian Private University Games (NPUGA) which is scheduled to kick-off December next year.
The resolution to award the hosting rights to ABUAD was reached at the end of the three day meeting of the NPUGA council meeting held at the Talent Discovery Centre, ABUAD campus in Ado Ekiti.

Association President, Akintunde Akinola expressed satisfaction with the facilities after an inspection by the council members and stated his belief that ABAUD can stage a successful event.
He added that the founder of Afe Babalola University has given the association his word that the university will be ready for the sports event and all the lapses will be corrected before the date of the games.
The 5th edition of the NPUGames was held at the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji Arakeji, in 2011.
